If you are in the vicinity of Cingjing Farm for your holiday, the Mount Hehuan is definitely a must go destination. Chances if you are already staying in the residence hotel of Cingjing farm, your host will be able to arrange for transport to Mount Hehuan and back to your accommodation. The best time to visit Mount Hehuan is during the spring period where months like late January and early part of February would be good to get fantastic weather, enjoy spring time floral and still witness the icy majestic scenery of this place.

A day tour is more than enough though there are also resort located at Mount Hehuan. If you happen to stay at Mount Heahuan resorts, you get to enjoy the night view and experience the cold air at 3000 meters above sea level. This is an experience that you don’t normally get if you are in Taipei for holidays.

I enjoy taking panoramic pictures of Mount Hehuan because this whole place is surrounded by mountains and they are all so breathtaking. Here is a collection of pictures taken at Mount Hehuan during my short stay there back in 2014.

If you are planning to take pictures for memories, do bring a tripod along. Also, this place is always crowded with tourists both overseas and locals. As such, try to go in the morning. Better still if you stay at the resort. That way, you can to see sunrise and sunset and also have the time to move around and take as many great pictures as possible. Always remember, when wanting to take good pictures, do not rush but always have the time to explore as much as you can.
